Media Manager Updates

Many whose E-zekiel plans include the Media manager have taken advantage of the exciting opportunity to share audio and video files on the Web. We've heard numerous stories about the positive impact of including media on church and ministry Web sites, and we hope you've experienced the same results!

Recently, we’ve added improvements to make your Media manager and E-zekiel.tv even better! Check out the changes and let us know what you think. Post a comment on Facebook or send us an email with your thoughts.

Improvements for Media and Site Administrators:

• Support for longer playback – Now you can upload and share videos up to 15 minutes long and audio files up to 60 minutes.
• Higher quality playback – Video and audio you choose to upload and share will look and sound even better with our encoding and compression settings.
• Auto format detection – Upload your video files, and they'll be shared in their native format (standard or wide-screen format).

Improvements for your site visitors:

• Playback across browsers and mobile devices like iPad – Now your visitors can enjoy your audio and videos in more places – even mobile devices that don't support Flash.
• Bigger player window – The focus has always been your media, and now visitors can view your videos at even larger sizes.
• Easier sharing – Visitors can now share your media files easier through Facebook, Twitter, and email. The code to link, embed, or download (audio only) your files are now easier to access too.
   

If your E-zekiel.com plan doesn’t include the Media manager, you can easily upgrade to one that does through your Account manager. Additionally, E-zekiel.tv is a free Christian media-sharing site, where anyone can upload video and audio files. Creating a free account on E-zekiel.tv is another way to embed videos on your site. Videos Promote International Missions

The International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention has recently uploaded to E-zekiel.tv hundreds of videos highlighting mission activities. A number are geared particularly to seasonal promotions of the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, which can be used in worship services or embedded on church Web sites. Visit E-zekiel.tv and search for “IMB” or “Lottie Moon” to review these videos.

Training Day on Veterans' Day

Brentwood United Methodist Church (just below Nashville, TN) will host a full-day of E-zekiel training on Thursday, November 11. The event begins at 8:30 a.m. (CT) and wraps up at 4:30 p.m.

As with other training days held recently for packed audiences, E-zekiel trainer, Dacia Gulledge, will be on hand to lead three sessions, as well as a Q & A lab session. Dacia will cover utilizing the syndication manager for podcasting and blogging, as well as discuss media options for audio and video such as E-zekiel.tv.

Additionally, participants will look at the tips and tricks of the pages and panels managers and explore the management of events (calendar) and forms.
